Our Process

Electrical work without the runaround.

Getting electrical work done shouldn’t mean chasing people for quotes, wondering when they’re turning up or trying to work out what happens next.

At Effective Electrical, we keep things simple. Clear communication, practical advice, quality work and a process that keeps you in the loop from the first call to the final check.

How It Works

01. Tell Us What You Need

Start by giving us a call or sending through an enquiry.

Tell us what you’re working on, what needs fixing or what you’re thinking about doing. You don’t need to know all the electrical details. That’s our job.

02. We Take a Look

For straightforward jobs, we may be able to give you an idea of what’s involved straight away.

For larger projects, renovations, new builds, heat pumps or solar installations, we’ll organise a time to visit the property, look at the job properly and talk through your options.

03. Clear Advice & Pricing

Once we understand the job, we’ll explain what we recommend and why.

No unnecessary electrical jargon. No making things more complicated than they need to be.

Where a quote is required, we’ll clearly outline the work involved so you know what you’re agreeing to before we get started.

04. We Book It In

Happy to go ahead?

We’ll organise a time that works and let you know what to expect before we arrive.

If we’re working alongside builders, other trades or a wider project team, we’ll make sure we’re communicating with the right people to keep everything moving.

05. We Get to Work

This is the important bit.

We turn up when we say we will, treat your property with respect and complete the work to a high standard.

If anything changes or we find something you need to know about, we’ll talk to you before simply charging ahead.

06. Final Check

Before we call the job finished, we make sure everything is working as it should.

We’ll talk you through anything you need to know, answer your questions and leave the space tidy.

Then you can get on with your day.
